This week Kirkhill returned from our one-week furlough. During the week we were on furlough, we got notice of 5 employees receiving positive test results to COVID-19. The impacted employees received these results while they were already out of the facility and they have not been back to Kirkhill since. None of the affected employees are hospitalized and all remain at home under advice from their doctors as they go through the 14-day period, after which they will be allowed to return to work. We expect that they will be ready to return to work in early May.

We continue to be consistent with our thermal screening practices as well as mandated use of PPE for anyone entering our facility.

We will continue to be vigilant and transparent both internally and externally to you, our customers. We also ask that you do the same in return and communicate any change in your demand positions as quickly as possible and in this regard we would like to thank you
for the inputs received this week.

If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your Kirkhill customer service Contact or your sales contact with any questions.

This week Kirkhill received notice of our first confirmed case of the COVID-19 Coronavirus. The employee was last here on Friday, April 3rd and subsequently we did a thorough decontamination of any areas where that employee spent time.

In light of this, coupled with the significant downturn in demand for airline spares parts as well as parts for new commercial aircraft manufacturing, Kirkhill has decided to close our facility tonight and re-open it on Monday morning, April 20th. Tomorrow was already a planned holiday so the new news here is that we will be closed all of next week.

We will continue to be vigilant and transparent both internally and externally to you. We also ask that you, our customers, do the same in return and communicate any change in your demand positions as quickly as possible.

If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your Kirkhill customer service or sales contact via e-mail and these will be answered upon our return.

This is the third update from Kirkhill regarding the actions we are taking to protect our employees, our business, and our commitments to our customers.

We have ordered new thermal cameras and are going to be installing them next week. This new technology will allow for an even more accurate reading for our temperature checks upon entry to our facility. As of today, both our employees and facilities are safe with zero detection. We are continuing to meet our current commitments and do not see that recovery or delivery commitment being interrupted in the near term.

Kirkhill is partnered with a 3rd party decontamination team as part of our emergency action plan should we receive notice of a confirmed case of Covid19. Yesterday, we ran through a practice drill where we decontaminated several areas on our production floor and the front office. The process went smoothly and we will be prepared in case we are notified of a confirmed case.

Kirkhill is communicating regularly with its supplier base to capture updated status information. This is also to keep our customers informed of any changes in the potential severity of impact to delivery of components manufactured in regions of the world affected by the virus. To date, we do not see any risk to our supply chain.

We will continue to be vigilant and transparent both internally and externally to you. We also ask that you, our customers, do the same in return and communicate any change in your demand positions as quickly as possible.

If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your Kirkhill customer service or sales contact or also myself in case of emergency.

Sincerely,
Kevin McHenry
President
