Brea, CA – On May 7th, 18 employees from Kirkhill, a leading manufacturer of aerospace products, participated in the Orange County Half Marathon, a 13.1-mile race that starts at Fashion Island and ends at the OC Fair and Event Center. The runners were part of Team Kirkhill, a group of employees who share a passion for fitness and philanthropy.

The Orange County Half Marathon is part of the SDCCU OC Marathon Running Festival, which also includes a full marathon, a 5K run, and a kids run. The event attracts tens of thousands of runners every year, who enjoy the scenic coastal course and the festive atmosphere. The event also supports various local charities, such as the Kids Run the OC Foundation, which promotes an active and healthy lifestyle for children.

Team Kirkhill was proud to represent their company and their community in the race, which they trained for months in advance. They wore matching shirts with the Kirkhill logo and cheered each other on along the way.

The runners were greeted by their colleagues, friends, and family at the finish line, where they received medals and celebrated their accomplishment. They also enjoyed the Celebrate OC Festival, which featured live music, food trucks, beer garden, and interactive exhibits.

Team Kirkhill was one of the many corporate teams that participated in the Orange County Half Marathon, demonstrating their commitment to wellness and social responsibility. The race was not only a physical challenge, but also an opportunity to bond with their coworkers and give back to their community. Team Kirkhill plans to continue running and supporting causes that matter to them.
